Is it possible to make the vba code read only whilst leaving the workbook editable?

Excel Facts

Which Excel functions can ignore hidden rows?
The SUBTOTAL and AGGREGATE functions ignore hidden rows. AGGREGATE can also exclude error cells and more.
You can both password protect and hide your VBA code pages. No reason to make it read-only.

I hide the vba pages but the user wants to be able to see the code whilst I obviously don't want him to mess with it
