Mapquest and Excel

I have never had the opportunity to write a macro that pulls information from the web but fear not Today's the Day I get to tackle this challenge.

MY MISSION

I have a location that will always be the same.

I need to determine the difference in miles where an address change has occured. In example at one time it was located in Anywhere USA and now its located in Anywhere, Canada

When located in Anywhere USA it was 100 mile to the set location and now that it is located in Anywhere Canada it is 500 miles. Can someone tell me how to systematically pass parameters to the web and pull the miles from mapquest?
