Man, I know this is an old question because I remember seeing it some time ago but I have been searching and can't find it. Someone had written some code at one time or another to measure where the bottle necks are occuring within a DB. Anyone have any clue where that post is? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Did you know Excel offers Filter by Selection?
Add the AutoFilter icon to the Quick Access Toolbar. Select a cell containing Apple, click AutoFilter, and you will get all rows with Apple
I'd be interested too but I reckon the main bottlenecks will be found in one or both of the following:
Queries
Forms

Forms, over a network, can be a huge drain if you don't filter the records down before loading the form.

You could do something like:

Loop through all forms
Open normally
Open in data entry mode
Compare the time difference

Loop through all queries (except Action queries)
Time how long they take to run
