i really need a piece of vba code i can attach to a button , so that it will return me to a menu screen in a user form.

Add a command button to your form and add this code to the button:

Private Sub CommandButton1_Click()
    Unload Me
    MainForm.Show
End Sub

Change MainForm to the name of your form.
