pls look at the above picture. now.. my dialog boxes take me to the worksheet 'INVENTORY' but when ever I want to enter something at the INVENTORY worksheet, I've to close all the annoying dialog boxes. Is it possible to automatically close them once they link me to the INVENTORY worksheet?:biggrin:
 

Excel Facts

Links? Where??
If Excel says you have links but you can't find them, go to Formulas, Name Manager. Look for old links to dead workbooks & delete.
OK then

Userform1.Show

does open userform named UserForm1

Userform1.Hide

does hide the userform

Unload UserForm1

does clear the instance of userform1 from the memory

does this help?

me. but i'm a beginner

man...if a begineer can do this stuff then I doubt if there is any reason & need to achieve a degree in programming for excel...we are wasting our time on this board aint we...?

I would not say that we are wasting time, I am also very beginner to Excel and VB but the given codes are fairly simple also as the forms have been created by the poster, there should be no problem to understand them. :)

well I am a begineer too....and I am having a pretty hard time knowing and learning...maybe I am not so familiar with the syntax....cuz all this time till the moment it was only Java :devilish:

i know what you mean. BUT the problem is I am not using Userforms. I'm using dialogsheets. Pls advise me. Thanks.
