Microsoft Office: Suggest File Save Location feature?

Hi

I've been helping a friend with their computer today, re-organizing their pigsty of a My Documents folder (containing over 2000 files, most not in folders).
I installed Google Desktop Search for them some time ago but they haven't got into the swing of using it (all it requires is hitting ctrl twice and giving it some keywords but habits die hard etc etc).
Anyway, their files mostly have homes now.

But I was wondering...

When you save a file in Excel, or Office in general (or perhaps Windows in general; this app could automatically detect that you're saving a particular file extension and popup), is there an application that will scan through the contents of the file for keywords, try and find similarities with existing files (e.g. it could suggest something relating to a particular client; mentioning their name, be saved into their folder, etc).

AFAIK nothing like this exists, I've neither the time nor inclination to build something such as this myself but I'm a strong believer in that a lot of good ideas never come to anything because whoever came up with them neither acted on them, nor wanted to share them - because the idea's worth so much (ignoring the fact they'll never do anything with it).

Not that I'm saying this is one of those ideas, but we all know how many computer users have their files all over the place.

I realize Microsoft have spoken of doing away with folders altogether for years, instead implementing a CMS with strong search capabilities, but it'd be quite a radical move to make, and they haven't done it yet.
