6/18/02 and so on for two years, but i can't seem to drag the formula down. do i have to physically type the values into the formula or is there an alternative, thanks!

Excel Facts

How can you turn a range sideways?
Copy the range. Select a blank cell. Right-click, Paste Special, then choose Transpose.
Try right-clicking and dragging then choose the Fill Months option from the pop-up. HTH.

In A1 enter: 5/18/02

In A2 enter one of & copy down:

=EDATE(A1,1)

=DATE(YEAR(A1),MONTH(A1)+1,DAY(A1))
