Good morning all,
Apologies if someone has asked this before.
The company I work for is in the process of moving all its server drive data over to OneDrive, but I have a question regarding all our spreadsheets.

If they all get simply copied from one drive to another in full, same named folders etc, will the lookup formulas and links within the spreadsheets, update themselves automatically or will we need to open each one individually and manually change them to pick up the new drive location?

I dont know the specific drive paths yet, as its still in the beginning stages, but for example, if we moved everything from the L: Drive to OneDrive will that cause the issues mentioned above.
My plan B is to create the new folders, and then open each and every spreadsheet that has formulas to other sheets, and then do Save As's but we are talking about a lot of sheets, so isnt a great solution, but I dont want to just hope the move will update everything.

Has anyone had experience of this before, and if so what are your recommendations so the formulas between the sheets, stay intact when moved.

Many thanks for your time and attention reading this and look forward to your suggestions :)

Excel Facts

Add Bullets to Range
Select range. Press Ctrl+1. On Number tab, choose Custom. Type Alt+7 then space then @ sign (using 7 on numeric keypad)
This is no longer needed, copying them over in bulk does transfer over the formulas, and updates them to the new locations automatically so PHEW :)
