MRA Regression addins-removing outliers

I've investigated a whole lot of addins and other software (including stand alone) but have yet to find any that provide an easy (automated) way to remove outliers (say, above/below 2x std).

I sure could use something very easy for an app I am building for general users. Anyone know of something like this? Perhaps VB code out there? Way cool would be to allow the user to choose outliers to remove based on % above/below.

Suggestions? Thanks!

Excel Facts

Why does 9 mean SUM in SUBTOTAL?
It is because Sum is the 9th alphabetically in Average, Count, CountA, Max, Min, Product, StDev.S, StDev.P, Sum, VAR.S, VAR.P.

Specifically, what are the outliers to which you refer?

Are these outliers in your data, or outliers in the regression residuals, or other?

Would you be able to post some reasonably brief suitable sample data on which to base an example?
