MROUND - alternative formula needed

My company has Excel on our network, but they did not install the Analysis Toolkit that allows use of the MROUND feature. I'm looking for a manual formula that will return the same result as MROUND so a program I wrote can be used by employees on the Excel version provided by the company. (I created the program on my personal version of Excel which has the toolkit installed to use MROUND).

You can rewrite

MROUND(Number,Multiple)

as

ROUND(Number/Multiple,0)*Multiple

Example:

=ROUND(A1/0.5,0)*0.5

is equivalent to:

=MROUND(A1,0.5)

where A1 houses a target number.
