I would like to know how to have a new IE window to open as a full screen. It currently open at half the screen size. I know this isn't the right forum for this. Since you folks are so helpful, I was hoping someone can tell me where I can go to ask a question about Microsoft Internet Explorer?
Thanks,
Lea

Spell Check in Excel
Press F7 to start spell check in Excel. Be careful, by default, Excel does not check Capitalized Werds (whoops)
This drives me nuts too. There's probably a better way, but I usually do this:

(1) close all but one of your open IE windows (or open IE if it's closed)
(2) size it to your preference
(3) close IE and open it again

All subsequent IE windows should open at the size you set in step 2

Oaktree,
Thank you. I will give that a try.

If it's IE7, and new tabs.

Tools - Internet Options - General - Tabs - Settings - When a Pop Up is Encountered: Choose: Let Internet Explorer decide how popups should be opened.

Since trying this option, all new tabs have been opening full size.

Marbles,
Thanks for the help. I noticed that it happens when I click on a link and a new window opens. Either in email or on a web page. I have IE6.
