Please help - I am desperate... can Excel do a double if formula by looking at cells and not fixed type info.

EG: I have a % achieved and $ bonus to pay: however the % achieved & the $ bonus to pay information in the cell will change each month

So... I want the formula to say
=IF (look for cell A1 (which has %achieved) and if found use A2 ($bonus) to give me an answer... otherwise false

The second dillema I have is that A1 has 3 ranges from 100-150, 150-200 & 200-300 to calculate with a set % in A2

Is this possible? :(

How to change case of text in Excel?
Use =UPPER() for upper case, =LOWER() for lower case, and =PROPER() for proper case. PROPER won't capitalize second c in Mccartney
Hi Adam - I had a screen print, however i cannot get input it as it only wants a http:// option... and so does the hyperlink :rolleyes:

There are some options in my signature. Problem with a screen shot is that we can't copy and paste the data in to Excel to play with :)

Hi Adam...

The html thing is just not working for me... I get tons of html jargon pasted but no picture to paste... the whole file needs to be reviewd to get the picture so I will try emailing a friend tommrrow.. it's been a long day - it's late here in Oz & I have given up for the night. I'll try work on it again tommorrow.
Thanks for your help anyway.:)

Re: NESTED IF formula with multiple conditions

I think the solustion is a NESTED IF formula with multiple conditions - can anymone help with:

eg: the following 4 arguments in 1 complete formula:
IF <84850 = $0 (or "no bonus")
IF between 84850 & 93037.99 = $100.00
IF between 93038 & 101495.99 = $150.00
IF = > 101496 = $200.00

The second formula I have to do has 5 arguments:
IF <90% = -25% from A1
IF between 90% & 99.99% = 0% (or "no bonus")
IF between 100% & 109.99% = 10% of A1
IF between 110% & 121.99% = 15% of A1
IF = > 122% = 20% of A1

HELP!
