Hi,

I need some assistance with the following fomula (which is in cell L11);

=IF(I10="YES",IF(L8<=F8,"NO","YES"),"N/A")

I now want this formula adjusted to execute based on cell I11. So if;

- cell I11 has a numerical value then i want cell L11 to return a "N/A" value

However;

- If cell I11 is "N/A" then i would like cell L11 to execute this part of the above formula..... IF(L8<=F8,"NO","YES"),"N/A")

Thanks in advance!!!

Cheers everyone :)

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.

Looks like...
Code:
=IF(ISNUMBER(I11),
     "N/A",
     IF(I11="N/A",
        IF(L8<=F8,
           "NO",
           "YES"),
        "N/A"))

I have another formula i need to add 2 more IF scenario's too.

The current formula is:

=IF(AND(L10="YES",L21="N/A",L24="N/A"),IF(O8>L14,"YES","NO"),"N/A")

This needs to be adjusted so that if L21 is "NO" &/or L24 is "NO" then this part needs to execute as above.... IF(O8>L14,"YES","NO")

So basically if
- L10 = YES
- L21 = N/A &/or NO
- L24 = N/A &/or NO
..... then IF(O8>L14,"YES","NO") executes

THANK YOU!!!

Try...
Code:
=IF(AND(L10="YES",OR(L21="N/A",L21="NO"),OR(L24="N/A",L24="NO")),
    IF(O8>L14,"YES","NO"),"N/A")

Processing data using solely formulas with logical functions can be hard to maintain... Try to rethink your set up.

I understand your comment but this is the final formula to complete my worksheet.

I would really appreciate your help if you may know of a solution to the scenario.

Cheers

You mean...
Code:
=IF(AND(L10="YES",OR(L21="N/A",L21="NO"),OR(L24="N/A",L24="NO")),
    IF(O8>L14,"YES","NO"),"N/A")
is not what you want?
