hi,

my second problem is that i want to highlight duplicate values by conditional format with different or multiple range in a particular sheet at the same time(=countif($B$2:$BC$8,B2)>1) but i need that the range should be multiple like(=countif($B$2:$BC$8,B2+$B$9:$BC$15,B9+$B$16:$BC$22,B16+..........)>1).

or some vba code will help me.

countif($B$2:$BC$8,B2+$B$9:$BC$15,B9+$B$16:$BC$22,B16+..........)>1

Welcome to the board...

You would have to write it as multiple countifs
=countif(..)+countif(..)+countif(..)>1

hope that helps..
