Dear All,
I have a statement which calculates the number of entries in a sheet in any given month which works fine.
=COUNTIFS(SaMSEncounters!$B:$B,">="&AB19,SaMSEncounters!$B:$B,"<="&EOMONTH(AB19,0))
January 01/01/2021 1
February 01/02/2021 1
March 01/03/2021 3
I now wish to extend this statement to incorporate a second clause. So I want the statement to calculate the number of entries per month, as above where the second clause is say "John".
So if in March there are a total of 3 entries but John accounts for only 2, then the answer should be 2
I have tried this but it does not provide what I was hoping for.
=COUNTIFS(SaMSEncounters!$S:$S,”John”,SaMSEncounters!$B:$B,">="&AQ23,SaMSEncounters!$B:$B,"<="&EOMONTH(AQ23,0))
Any help please
Regards
paul
