Hi all members

I am new member of MREXCEL.COM.
I have a data series A and B. A is years, and B is temperaure. A and B are from 1to 55 with no missing value.
I want to plot this time series and want to insert two trend lines on it .... first from 1 to 29 and second from 30 to 55.

I have tried a lot to do so but not succeeded. Can any body help me to tell me how to do it in Excel or R package....

thanks and regards

Excel Facts

Copy formula down without changing references
If you have =SUM(F2:F49) in F50; type Alt+' in F51 to copy =SUM(F2:F49) to F51, leaving the formula in edit mode. Change SUM to COUNT.
You would need to plot those ranges as two series, then add a trendline to each.

This is not the answer of my question.
I have only one series (Years on X-axis, and Temperature on Y-axis)...
so I can only plot one series but want to insert two trend lines on it.
If some one help me to do so, I shall be thankful

Copy the data series. This will give you two plots lying on top of each other, add a trendline to each one.
