Hi,

I have multiple workbooks open and one of them is quite a large file with a huge amount of calculations in it.

I have copied values as much as I can in the file, but the rest of the calculations are needed for choices I make as the data is dynamic.

The problem/question I have is:

When I have another workbook open and I am working on the new workbook (which for arguments sake, let's say is blank), anytime I enter something in a cell and press enter, it calculates the other workbook, which only takes about 1-2 seconds, but it is still quite annoying that there is a delay every time I want to do something on this new workbook.

Is there any way that I can stop excel from calculating the other workbook when I am working on something different?

Thanks,

Eoin

P.S. I can't make calculations manual on the large workbook
