I have this formula:
=VLOOKUP($B16,PARTS_LIST,4,FALSE)

What is the best way for me to define the value of PARTS_LIST (using VBA)?

Currenty I have defined a name called PARTS_LIST, and refer to =INVENTORY!$B$2:$K$100

Here is my problem. Everytime I try to edit the worksheet INVENTORY, excel crashes.

Can I define my range PARTS_LIST anyother way besided using the Name function?

in VBA, did you try using:

Range("INVENTORY!$B$2:$K$100").Name = "PARTS_LIST"
