Hi
I need a formula that if a certain cell is equal to or between .83 to .844 return “Y”, if the cell is >= .85 return “G” and finally if the cell if < .83 return “R”

I was messing around with this, but keep getting a #Value! Error.

=IF((D3>=0.83)*(D3<=0.84),"Y",""),IF(D3>=0.85,"G",""),IF(D3<0.83,"R",""))

Thanks, Ima Learnin'

Excel Facts

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.
Thanks I got mine to work with this;

=IF((D3>=0.83)*(D3<=0.84),"Y",IF(D3>=0.85,"G",IF(D3<0.83,"R",)))

however, I like your formula much better... it's very clean

Thanks!!
