Hi,

Need Help in alignment.

I need to concatenate 3 columns lets say A, B and C in D column. Example provided

I want alignment as shown below but not achievable by simple concatenation, is there any work around to get this alignment

NameManagerNumber
Bala MSrijith K123456
GK KumarMahesh R2345
Sri DAbcdefg kllll12344454

While concatenating in D column want the same alignment as above with same character spaces

Thanks,
Gorki

Is there a reason you are combining them into one cell? I'm thinking theres an ascii character you could use through char(), but I don't know it off the top of my head - even so, you would still have some weird formats sometimes. Option B would be to figure out the max length of every field and insert the proper amount of spaces based on the length of the string in each cell (if that makes sense)

Hi Hal, I tried Option B and not successful in achieving the requirement as the alignment is not proper.
