Hello everyone. I need some help with conditional formatting. I'm trying to conditional format horizontally. My search numbers are in columns B10:G10. I would like to highlight the numbers that its looking for in columns BM10:DN10. and then I would like to copy it down to perform the same function, to look at the numbers in B11:G11 and search and highlight in BM11:DN11. and repeat all the way down.

I appreciate whoever can help, and for any help I can get.
Thank you.

Excel Facts

VLOOKUP to Left?
Use =VLOOKUP(A2,CHOOSE({1,2},$Z$1:$Z$99,$Y$1:$Y$99),2,False) to lookup Y values to left of Z values.
Does this look like the results you expect?

Solution
Yes it does. Do I need to select the cells where I would like the formula to go. and if so, which cells would they be?

Select your range BM10:DNxx and then go to Conditional Formatting > New Rule > use a formula to determine which cells to format.

Then use either my formula or Mark's and pick your formatting.

Thank you very much Dreid. It worked perfectly. Is there a way I can copy the conditional format down to the rest of the rows?

Did you only select row 10 the first time? You can select the entire range you want it to apply to, ie: BM10:DN30, then create the rule. Or go to Conditional Formatting > Manage Rules and change the Applies To range to match ALL the rows you want it to cover.
