Need to change drop down list depending on cell value?

Hello.

I hope that someone can help, I don't even know if what I am asking is possible.

I have a cell with data validation that gives the users a list of things to choose from. Depending on the company concerned, some of these items aren't relevant and shouldn't be available to be chosen......but thy invariably are which causes lots of data clean up issues when the spreadsheets are submitted.

I will try and explain: assume cell A1 contains Z001 (this is the company number) then I would want the data validation list to pull from cells G1:G10. If cell A1 is not Z001, I would want the data validation list to pull from cells H1:H10.

Almost like I need an IF statement embedded into the data validation. But I don't know how.
