Need to get rid of negative numbers

Subtracting one column from another that sometimes results in a negative number....instead of a negative number i want the result displayed as 0.001

"=IF(A1-B1<0,0.001,ABS(A1-B1))"

Using ABS is pointless, only positive values will be passed to the false argument!

Removing it makes your formula the same as the suggestion in the first reply.

I would use General in the TEXT option.

=--TEXT(A1-B1,"General;"".001""")
