Nested IF

I’ve done a nested IF, contains 4 or 5 criteria returning a Yes or No.

Why would it return a True or False when adding an additional criteria if I’m returning a Yes or No and presenting incorrect results?

Excel Facts

Save Often
If you start asking yourself if now is a good time to save your Excel workbook, the answer is Yes
An IF statement will always have a true and false option. If you omit an action for either then you will get TRUE or FALSE.

e.g. If B1=3
=IF(A1=2,B1) would give the contents of B1, the number 3 if A1 did contain 2. If A1 didn't contain 2 then you'd get FALSE
=IF(A1=2,,B1) If A1 is 2 then you'd get TRUE and if A1 was not 2 you'd get the contents of B1, 3.

Somewhere in your additional criteria you've probably two commas or unmatched true/false clauses.
