I am in an intro to statistics class. I am using excel Pivot table to make a frequency distribution table. I have a row of numbers I need to group into classes. When I right click on the top number to select the group button, it’s not there. But for my instructor and every YouTube video it is there. Why is it not there for me? I tried it on my IMac, my work computer which is Microsoft, my college Excel and my work Excel and it never shows up!

Select all contiguous cells
Pressing Ctrl+* (asterisk) will select the "current region" - all contiguous cells in all directions.
Shouldn't you click on more than one number to group?
It was the top number of a list in a pivot table. I tried selecting them all. My instructor just clicked on the one number in his demonstration. I messaged him but no reply.
