Hi everyone,

I would like to use the NOMINAL function (included in the Analysis vb toolpack) in one of my macros. Is there a way to have it available in vba ?

Thank you for your help

What did Pito Salas invent?
Pito Salas, working for Lotus, popularized what would become to be pivot tables. It was released as Lotus Improv in 1989.
In case it isn't available in VBA, you could use the formulas:
Effective Rate, or APY:
APY = (1+%rate/# of periods/yr)^(# of periods/yr) - 1
Nominal rate, or rate:
Rate =((1+%APY)^(1/# of periods/yr) - 1)*(# of periods/yr)

Yes, it's what I did actually but I was wondering how (or if) it is possible to get access in the VBA code to the worksheet functions included in addins, such as the analysis toolpack.

I'm sorry that I cannot help you in VBA, but, I feel that someone else, who can, will pick this up. Good luck!

In the VBA Editor goto Tools>References... and check atvbaen.xls.

You should then be able to use Nomimal in VBA.
