Not freeze panes but kind of

Hi..I am using excel 2007.. I have this one spreadsheet that I did not create but I am trying to find out how this one person achieved a certain feature I like..(That person is not around so I can't ask him : ) , Basically he has the column headings on row 2 and when I scoll the spreadsheet it automatically replaces the column headings a, b,c etcc with the names that are in row two..kind of like freeze panes but it's not..It's like it renames the column headings when u scroll...How do I achieve this?

sounds as if the panes were froze at row 2. perhaps you've been used to them frozen at row 1?

No, the actual columns headers(titles) are as expected A B C etc..and from what I'm googling there is no way to change column headers but I can there is because with this spreadsheet once you scroll past row three it renames A B C to the titles on row 2

Maybe some kind of event code.

Right click the sheet name tab, then click "view code".

actually I think it's something to do with table..He must of created a table..

It all makes sense now, I read it as the headers were moving down the sheet as you scroll, such that if row 11 was at the top of the page then the headers would be in row 12.
