Hi there

I need some help I paste this long formula into excel cell below and it only shows as below:

=SUM(SUMIFS(All_Data[Planned_Duration],All_Data[ECMPeriod],C$4,All_Data[Visit_Code],"0",All_Data[Service],"<>"&$A$23))

The formula does work but only if I manual type it all out again which is very longwinded as I have around 100 to do but if I don’t get this error stated below:

Not trying to type a formula error

Any simple ideas how to resolve it, I checked the usual suspects such as text and gaps and spaces still no joy.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last used cell?
Press Ctrl+End to move to what Excel thinks is the last used cell.
To start with you do not need to wrap that formula in sum as you are not using any arrays for the criteria.
Check that the table name & headers are correct.

Hi Fluff

Afternoon

I am not sure what you mean by wrap the formula in a sum, Please note the formula is fine and works but only if manual type it full into the cell.

Many Thanks & Stay Safe

I mean that you don't need the sum, you can just use
Excel Formula:
=SUMIFS(All_Data[Planned_Duration],All_Data[ECMPeriod],C$4,All_Data[Visit_Code],"0",All_Data[Service],"<>"&$A$23)

Hi Fluff

It still don't work it not so much issue with formula as such it just that excel error message does not see it as a formula unless I type it out in excel manually . Hope that makes sense, but I am grateful for any input.

Many Thanks & Stay Safe

If I create a table with those headers & paste the formula into a cell, it works quite happily, so not sure why it's not working that way for you.
