Number format changes while pasting into a cell

Hi,
I am trying to paste a number 180204524303 from an email to an excel cell, however, whenever i try to do so , the the paste value appears as 1.80205E+11 . I understand I can do the paste special while pasting it , however, I cannot ask my client who uses the same sheet to do so everytime.Please let know if there is any format that i can change in the excel so when i paste the number, the actual number appears.

it seems this number will not be used in any calculation so format cells/column as text (Alt+H, N, Text) then paste number

I did this already , but still getting the same result.

Are you sure you re-typed the number after chaging the format settings?

I am copying and pasting the number from an external source, i.e, from an email.

Steps I am following:-

1.Selecting the cell/column
2. Right click, format cells and "Text" and OK
3. Pasting the long number from an email

We might have to recreate the situation you're going through to figure out what's going on.
