Hi ,I am trying to copy and paste some data from a website (www.statarea.com) but when I paste it on excel it all appears in one cell with all contents going downwards, Is there a way I can copy and paste it to appear same as is on website?
When I paste it in Excel, click into one of the cells and paste my clipboard content It pastes it into one long cell instead of formatting it into the column/row format as it appeared in the HTML table.

Excel Facts

Move date out one month or year
Use =EDATE(A2,1) for one month later. Use EDATE(A2,12) for one year later.
Unfortunately, the data on this site (at least the samples I checked) is not structured as a table in the HTML, just as a sequence of nested DIV elements. It is only made to appear as a table probably with CSS.
So the actual data structure is not a table, but a "list" of sorts.
So copy/paste will not produce the result you desire.
