Hi guys,

I'm having problems converting a file from Excel '07 to '03 as a supplier has sent us information in '07 but unfortunately we're on '03 (hopefully to be upgraded soon to '10).

Anyway, Excel is shutting itself down and reporting a problem to Microsoft when I try this through the office icon up the top left. I've then tried saving this as a PDF and this is also not working. I've gone into the print preview and noticed the sheet is nearly 37k pages!

I've gone to the end of my data, held down the ctrl and down and right to and went to the "clear all" thinking this would erase anything down there. I've also cleared the print area. After all these changes I saved the file but it still shows almost 37,000 pages to print, which I think is the cause of the error trying to save as '03.

Any advice?

Excel Facts

How to find 2nd largest value in a column?
MAX finds the largest value. =LARGE(A:A,2) will find the second largest. =SMALL(A:A,3) will find the third smallest
Downloaded the compatibility pack but didn't help. I've saved separately the data I think is needed so hopefully that'll be ok.

Thanks anyway
