Office 2010 H&S installed but.......

I'm right-clicking to open a document with "open with...."

but excel is not one of the options.

In the option box are MS office, word and other options, but not excel.

I have excel open and it works fine.

using windows 7 64 bit.

Very grateful for any advice.

.....the documents I'm trying to open are just data files which i have previously opened with excel
