alright, I've never done this one - but I'm sure there's an easy formula versus thousands of the same one.

Source sheet: updates weekly - it's colums A-F wide - data after headers starts row 3 and is anywhere from 4,000 to 5500 rows long
target sheet - starts A2

so there's is there a formula for A2 to bring the source data into the target sheet per cell (as opposed to =sourcesheeta2 copied right and down for let's say 30,000 formulas?
thanks - this group is always amazing!

Excel Facts

Format cells as time
Select range and press Ctrl+Shift+2 to format cells as time. (Shift 2 is the @ sign).
Are you looking to return all data, or just some of it?

all of the data below the header - row 3 down - but not the header rows...
and, also, only the data in colums a-f... my target sheet has formulas in G and H that are affected by A-F (as a table)
and it would hit the target sheet at row 2

Ok, how about in A2 only
Excel Formula:
=FILTER(source!A4:F10000,source!A4:A10000<>"")

Do you have any #value errors in col A of the source sheet?

No, not in source. the source sheet is all just general (columns a-d General, e, f - Currency) - there are no formulas in the source sheet - just rows and rows of data.
not sure if this matters - but the value in column A is identical from a3 to the end of the data, then blank after that (a location) - would that matter in regards to the filter?

In that case clear all the cells in cols A:F from row 2 down & put the formula back in A2 only
