Open a folder from the server from my personal.xls menu

I have a personal workbook in my xlstart folder that gives me some custom tools. One thing I am trying to do is on my custom menu, I want to be able to open a folder with a subroutine (OpenFolder) from a network server. I have tried shell, which worked great for opening my .exe files, and I tried to put a hyperlink on a sheet, then run the hyperlink in the cell, but when I hid the sheet that broke it.

My server path is \\Sdc-svr1\Forecaster\StaffPlans
