Can you use the open ... for output construct to write to a txt or csv file without it automatically adding quotes around each string, or am I going to have to strip them off when I read it back in later?

Cheers,

You could use saveas instead for saving as csv without quotes.

Code:
ActiveWorkbook.SaveAs Filename:="c:\temp\book1..csv", FileFormat:=xlCSV, CreateBackup:=False

It's not a workbook, it's just the contents of an array, recording some settings for a user form. I worked round it in the end by stripping off the quotes when I read it back in next time, but I've never been a fan of redundancy & I just figured there might be a setting you could tweak that'd stop the quotes being written in the first place.
