Dear all,
below is a snippet of code that I used to open text files:
Code:
Application.Workbooks.OpenText MyList.Value, xlMSDOS, 1, xlDelimited, xlDoubleQuote, Tab:=True, _
                    FieldInfo:=Array(Array(1, 1), Array(2, 1), Array(3, 1), Array(4, 1), Array(5, 1), Array(6, 1))
The code works well but I don't really understand what is asking Excel to do, in particular what do the "XLMSDOS", "XLdelimited", "XLdouble quote", and an "field info" mean in plain English.
Regards,
Peter
