Is it possible to open a new Excel app from a VB script and reference between the two?

i.e. instead of opening a new workbook, open a new Excel window and open the file in it and reference between the file that opened the new window and the newly opened window.

Thanks,

Ryan

Workdays for a market open Mon, Wed, Friday?
Yes! Use "0101011" for the weekend argument in NETWORKDAYS.INTL or WORKDAY.INTL. The 7 digits start on Monday. 1 means it is a weekend.

Have a look @ CreateObject

eg
Dim xlApp As Object ' Declare variable to hold the reference.

Set xlApp = CreateObject("excel.application")
