I have a spreadsheet that is meant to track the sales, variance, and labor each day and calculate this percentage as a month. I would like to create a button that will navigate through the months of the year, displaying each day with the data intact.

As seen in the picture, each day has data associated with it. After February is over, we will no longer need to look at the data, but will like to keep it stored for later calculation or to look back in time if necessary. Is there a way I can add a button that will switch from displaying February to March, then April, and so on?

Excel Facts

Formula for Yesterday
Name Manager, New Name. Yesterday =TODAY()-1. OK. Then, use =YESTERDAY in any cell. Tomorrow could be =TODAY()+1.

I can't see your image, for some reason it doesn't display on my machine

As a first suggestion, take a look at pivot tables. You'd simply list all your data on one worksheet, then have a pivot perform the summary somewhere else

Thanks to @baitmaster, I have learned how to use a pivot table to group my data by months. However, I would like the table to be a little more interactive. It would be nice if I had two arrows or a drop-down list that would let me navigate by month and day. In this way, upon clicking the arrow the columns which are displaying the month of February will instead show the month of March. If I need to go back and look at the month of February, I could by using an arrow or some other method.

You should be able to do this with a Pivot which is why I suggested it even though I don't personally like them that much...

Set month as a filter, it should appear as a drop down above your pivot table
