Out of Multiple names how make one name populate in a cell

Hi Team,
One cell containing example : A1 ( Gowthami;Sita; Praveen) another worksheet having list of names in one column.
How to get the A1 cells names gets populated in another cell by comparing if it's there in another sheet.

I need the name needs to populate if it's there in another worksheet.

Hi.. Excel in worksheet 1 we have names in Row A1 cell as ( Gowthami;Tej;Jason;John) in worksheet 2_ we have list of names in a column cell A1 - Gowthami, A2 Ram ,A3- Baby, A4- Helen A5- Charan.

My requirements is workSheet 2 contains names that are major for the project.
So I need to check if the name is in the worksheet1 cell A1.
If the worksheet 1 cell A1 contains name which is there in the worksheet to list of cells.
That name needs to be populated in new cell.

Is there any formula for this.
I really appreciate.

Where is the "new cell"? I believe that in your original post you included a link to your file. It is no longer there. Can you re-post that link?

The newCell is in worksheet 1_ Column B. Cell (B1)

Could you use the XL2BB add-in (icon in the menu) to attach a screenshot (not a picture) of your sheet? Explain in detail what you want to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and sheets using a few examples from your data.
