Page Footer counter?

I have a folder containing 400+ workbooks, each workbook containing any number of worksheets, from 1 to 15.
I would like to print every sheet in every workbook contained in that folder, and have the Page Footer number the pages from 1 to....3,000.
(1 being the first sheet in the first workbook, and 300 being the last sheet in the last workbook).

Am I asking for too much, or is it possible to number the page footers across workbooks?

Thank you,

Jayson
