Past due dates

Hello all, i am using a simple spread sheet to show upcoming due dates for renewals, that part i have, but i need a formula to show past due dates. thanks for any and all responses.

Assuming that Past due means that the date due is less than the current date...

If my Due date were in C1

=IF(C1 < TODAY(),"Past Due","OK")

If you are going to do a lot of these, you may want to put =TODAY() in a cell somewhere and then reference that instead.

So if we pretend that I put =TODAY() in D1, the formula becomes

=IF(C1 < D1,"Past Due","OK")

thanks for the reply, but to no avail....i am using 3 conditions, 1 was using your formula, 2 was =(j8-today())<30, and 3 was =(j8-today())<90. when i use your formula i get an error message and the cell does not change to red. i know that it is something that i am missing, sorry for being slow.
