Has anybody ever gotten data from a pdf file into Excel? I tried copy and paste. That got me everything in one column even though my pdf looks like 6 columns of data. The Save As box lets you save a pdf as a Word document, but not Excel. Should I give up or is there a way?

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
1, You could try Data + Text to columns - etc. in Excel to separate them.

2. You could try copy and paste from Word

3. You can use a special program to make PDF to Excel, they are out there somewhere ( free of charge or commercial programs, like http://www.solidpdf.com/pdf/_convert_to_excel/91 )

Search Google with "PDF to Excel", there are plenty of them.

Thank you for your reply.

1. Doesn't work because the imported data contains no delimiters.

2. I tried that it didn't work either.

3. Good lead. I don't see any free ones though. Trial versions, but none free.

Thanks again,
DJ
