Hi there,
I'm wanting to have a macro that will run on a certain day of the week, every week.

How can i do this?

Excel Facts

How to fill five years of quarters?
Type 1Q-2023 in a cell. Grab the fill handle and drag down or right. After 4Q-2023, Excel will jump to 1Q-2024. Dash can be any character.
Do you want the macro to run when you open the workbook and it is Monday for example?

Or would you always have the workbook open on your computer and on Monday at 8:00 AM the macro runs?

I don't know of a way to make a macro run at a given day or time if the workbook is closed.

Well, if there is no way to run a periodic macro for a closed workbook, i can always run a scheduled task to open it first, and just include a close command in the macro i want to run.

I want the macro to run on (e.g) every saturday at 12.00pm
