Pie Charts: Make segments same color as cells in labels column

I'm sure that there is a way to do this but just cannot figure it out.

I have a number of pie charts and have to individually alter the color of each segment based on the brand.

I tried filling the cell labels used to create the charts with corresponding colors e.g. imagine the list below is a column.

brand 1 (background color is red)
brand 2 (background color is blue)
etc

I had hoped that when generating a pie chart with the label column varying colors that the segments would be colored correspondingly but no such luck. Does anyone know how to do this?

What is the last column in Excel?
Excel columns run from A to Z, AA to AZ, AAA to XFD. The last column is XFD.
Not really, not enough information.

I assume you altered the code to reference the correct cell range.
And that the chart was selected when you run the code from the other workbook.

Just figured it out. I had some hidden columns and needed to change the column ref to H and not A. Thanks again
