Is there a folder path where pinned files are stored?

Excel Facts

Quick Sum
Select a range of cells. The total appears in bottom right of Excel screen. Right-click total to add Max, Min, Count, Average.
I don't know much about pinned files but what I know is it isn't a simple folder path like regular shortcuts. These pinned items are stored in a database file within your user profile directory. The exact location can vary depending on the version of Windows you're using. If you need to access pinned items programmatically or perform some operations on them, you might need to use Windows API or some specialized tools.

I found this general path for Windows 10:
Rich (BB code):
C:\Users\%USERNAME%\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick Launch\User Pinned\TaskBar

Thanks for looking into Cubist.

Do you know if the Pinned files can be placed somewhere like the Quick Access Toolbar.

To my (limited) knowledge, Microsoft Excel doesn't offer a direct way to pin files to the Quick Access Toolbar like you can with commands or macros. With VBA, you could create a macro that opens specific files and then add buttons for those macros to the QAT or a custom ribbon tab.

OK thanks, that's what I was trying to do with the Pinned files but the issue seems to be the folder path.
