Hello all trust you are well.

(using Excel version 2010)

Have a Q I have been scratching my head on - is it possible to insert a calculated field into a pivot table that will apply a formula to two categories within the same data field?

For instance the field name is FY and two categories within are say 2013 & 2014 - which are laid out as separate columns in the pivot. I want to add a third calculated field for 2013 less 2014 within the pivot (as its a dynamic report and changes layout via a looping macro so a direct formula outside wont work).

Many thanks chaps.
Mr E.
