I am trying to find out the Rate of Sales for each store
this is generally calculated by Value Sales/Number of Weeks Sold
which works in a normal sheet.

However how I do this in a pivot table baffles me as I cannot get it to produce the correct answer

I have my file here [http://www.box.com/s/u9ijzx7j11ra0tstr6jg] for any Pivot gurus to look at.
along with what are the correct answers.

There must be something I am doing wrong

Can anyone suggeest what?

Waterfall charts in Excel?
Office 365 customers have access to Waterfall charts since late 2016. They were added to Excel 2019.
Martin you link fails to show the workbook.

Have you tried adding a column in the original table to do the calculation and then use the field in the Pivot table?

Which version of Excel are you using. As creating a forumla is a little different in 2007 and 2010 compared to 2003, as you have to look at the tabs.

How did you create the fields in the Pivot table for Value(£) and Weeks in Store (n)?

Value (£) = Sum of Best Sales (Renamed)
Weeks in Store (n) = Count of Store_Name (Renamed)
