Pivot Table Points to a Different Data Source When I Open....

I have a very simple pivot table set up that points to a file that is saved in a set location every day. Occasionally, when I open the file with the pivot table in it, the pivot table will be pointing to a temp file instead of the file it should be pointing at and I end up having to reselect the data. 1. What am I doing to cause this and/or 2. Is there an easier way to correct the problem when it happens than to basically recreate the table?
