Pivots and Charts reopen as text: ie cant open the Field List etc... Have no links/cubes etc as stated in other posts on the net. When opening from an email (sent the sheet to someone before closing it the first time) it works but after closing excel and opening it later they are all broken.

I use 2007, dont use compatibility and run Windows7.

ANY HELP!!!!!!!! Thanks

Excel Facts

Excel Can Read to You
Customize Quick Access Toolbar. From All Commands, add Speak Cells or Speak Cells on Enter to QAT. Select cells. Press Speak Cells.
By no links/cubes do you mean that the source for the Pivots is actually stored within the workbook? Or is your data coming from somewhere else?

Okay ...

What is the workbook saved as? (e.g. .xls .xlsb)
How big is the workbook?
How is the workbook structured?

i have saved them in 3 types of xlsx, normal, template and macro enabled.
3 pivots and 2 charts comes in under 1mb. really not a whole lot of data.
Cheers

I can't think of any reason why this would happen. I would rebuild the workbook in a new workbook - then cross my fingers. Save it before doing any of the emailing.
