Hi there! I'm using the concatenate function. When I put in this formula =CONCATENATE(B1, " ", C1) where B1 is a geographical location, " " is space, and C1 is keyword. When I hit Return, it seems to string together ALL of the keywords together after B1. I'm completely stumped and I'd really appreciate any insight. I have Excel for Mac 2008. :)

Excel Facts

What is the shortcut key for Format Selection?
Ctrl+1 (the number one) will open the Format dialog for whatever is selected.
Could you give an example of the problem, including the values of B1, C1 and the value returned by the formula.

Hi Mike,
I just worked it out - I was creating the formula in the wrong cell. Duh!
All good now.

Many thanks,
